Business   Steel Plants  Iron making  Sintering

Sintering plant mixes fine iron ore with coke and lime to form lumps, then cools and crushes to the required granularity by blast furnace, mostly between 5 mm and 50 mm.

Based on its accumulated technologies and experiences, POSCO E&C has been currently executing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for sintering facilities at home and overseas, including the sintering plants in Pohang and Gwangyang, the revamping project for a BSL sintering plant in Australia and the new sintering plant for TAVAZON project in Esfahan , Iran .
