| Sintering plant mixes fine iron ore with coke and lime to form lumps, then cools and crushes to the required granularity by blast furnace, mostly between 5 mm and 50 mm.
Based on its accumulated technologies and experiences, POSCO E&C has been currently executing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for sintering facilities at home and overseas, including the sintering plants in Pohang and Gwangyang, the revamping project for a BSL sintering plant in Australia and the new sintering plant for TAVAZON project in Esfahan , Iran .

This RMHF(Raw Material Handling Facility) is to provide coke, iron ore and sub-materials into newly installed FINEX(1.5 millions T/Y) in Pohang Steelworks. It includes material yard, stacker/reclaimer, belt conveyor, crushing and screening equipments and etc.
