POSCO E&C has adopted transparent management and principle-based management as the company's core values and practiced them as such since its foundation. Therefore, in order to become a long-lasting company capable of sustainable development, POSCO E&C proclaimed ethical management on July 10th 2003, and all its employees have made an effort to allow ethical management to take root as its corporate culture since then.
"Since a weakness in the ethical aspect can pose a risk to the existence of a company, we would like all of you to strictly comply with the code of ethics and to take the continuous leader-driven education and discussions on ethics as an opportunity to raise the awareness of ethics. Now is the time to break with the false way of thinking that as long as there is a positive outcome, the problems that arise in the process can be overlooked, and we should make genuine progress that can make accomplishments based on ethics." POSCO E&C has brought about fundamental changes in the mindset and behavior of its employees by conducting system reorganization, education and promotion activities based on its CEO's strong will to practice ethical management.
Going one step further, in 2007, we would like to realize customer satisfaction and live-and-let-live management through fair and honest business relations with all the stakeholders such as the company's clients and subcontractors.
