POSCO E&C is operating the corporate ethics task force to ensure that ethical management does not become a mere slogan and that it is actually practiced. The corporate ethics task force carries out a variety of activities ranging from the establishment of the ethics-related system to the education of the employees and public relations to ensure that each one of the employees makes a habit of practicing ethics.

POSCO E&C has been operating the business ethics website in order to promote ethics practice since we proclaimed the code of ethics. Through this website customers can refer to our code of ethics and present process about compliance program. Also we are operating Cyber Reporting room to inspect employees' unethical behavior and illegality.

We are operating the corporate ethics voluntary practice program, a proactive and systematic activity designed to enhance the company’s practice of ethics, by encouraging the employees to check their own performance in the practice of ethics, to identify ethical weaknesses and problems through division-based discussions, and to carry out activities for improvement.

In order to check the performance in the practice of ethics in each division and enhance the practice of ethical management, we have carried out the evaluation of the practice of ethics in each division every year since 2005 to motivate the employees to actively participate in the activities of ethical management, and we have conducted ‘surveys on the performance in the practice of ethics,’ targeting the employees and subcontractors, to diagnose the performance and progress in the company’s overall practice of ethics and to identify weaknesses, which we have been reflecting in our decision to setting the direction of activities.

POSCO E&C is operating the Ethics Consulting Line in order to provide the employees with standards for ethical judgment related to the performance of their duties. In addition to the consulting line on the website of ethical management, consulting services through phone, fax or mail to the corporate ethics task force are available at the convenience of users.
