In 2005, POSCO E&C was ranked 11th in the Korea's Most Admired Company ranking, the highest position among construction companies in Korea. The survey conducted by KMAC, a business consultancy based in Seoul, showed POSCO E&C achieving a high mark in innovation and public image. Especially, POSCO E&C received a high score in corporate image, grabbing the 8th slot, reflecting a high level of trust from customers.
Since the introduction of ethical management principles, POSCO E&C has implemented ethical guidelines vigorously. As a result, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy and Institute for Industrial Policy Studies ranked POSCO E&C as the No. 1 ethical company in 2005.
