| The code of ethics of POSCO E&C consists mainly of the body of the code of ethics, the rules of conduct, and the regulations of the code of conduct. The code of ethics stipulates the employees’ obligations as well as the mental attitude that they must have in order for the company to win the trust and respect from stakeholders. The rules of conduct enumerate seven norms of conduct that all the employees must comply with in order to practice the corporate ethics. The regulations of the code of conduct specify what should be particularly observed in business relations with stakeholders among the rules of conduct.
The content of the code of conduct and the rules of conduct can be referred to through a guidebook published in the format of corporate ethics handbook, and all the employees make a “pledge to observe the code of ethics” on the first business day of every new year through the electronic system in order to renew their resolve to observe the code of ethics. |
