Amara Hotel, Myanmar

Amara Hotel Myanmar is a five-star hotel located near the Inya Lake of Yangon, the economic center of Myanmar. Consisting of two buildings, each with one basement level and 29 ground levels, it holds 661 rooms with gross floor area of 104,123 m2 on a site measuring 22,237 m2. 

This hotel offers a variety of facilities including a convention center, restaurants, and swimming pools. Having obtained the land use right for the hotel site in 2012, POSCO International began the project implementation in January 2014 by establishing a local corporation with POSCO Group affiliates, such as POSCO E&C in charge of construction and POSCO A&C for design development. The hotel was opened after approximately four years of construction. 

Amara Hotel Myanmar, which will be a landmark for the country, is an outcome of trust and project competency POSCO has built over the last 30 years through cooperation with Myanmar.
