Jamsil The Sharp Star Park

"Jamsil The Sharp Star Park," created by POSCO E&C in September 2008 in Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, is a mixed-use development project harmonizing residential, business, commercial, and cultural functions, drawing attention as a new landmark representing southeastern Seoul.

Created with a scale of up to 39 ground floors and a total of 3 buildings, this complex consists of 213 apartment households and 119 officetel units.
POSCO E&C enhanced ventilation performance by applying a left-to-right sliding window system instead of the conventional up-and-down opening system commonly used in typical mixed-use residential-commercial apartments, designing it to allow cross-ventilation. Furthermore, the thermal transmittance (K-value) of the walls was designed and constructed at 0.29 W/m²·K—about 27% lower than the mixed-use apartment standard of 0.40 W/m²·K—maximizing insulation performance and accounting for heating energy-saving effects.

Jamsil The Sharp Star Park is located in a double-station-area where both Subway Line 2 Jamsil Station and Line 8 Seokchon Station can be utilized. With major nearby landmarks such as Lotte World Tower, Olympic Park, and Seokchon Lake, residents can enjoy rich living and cultural infrastructure. Together with "Seoul Forest The Sharp," "Jamsil The Sharp Star Park" has established itself as a core hub forming a premium residential belt within Seoul and is evaluated as a symbolic project representing the high-end strategy of POSCO E&C's "The Sharp" brand.
