The Seongnam-Gwangju-Yeoju Double-Track Railway is a 57km-long construction project that serves as a metropolitan railway network. Key stations such as Pangyo, Imae, Samdong, Gwangju, Ssangdong, Gonjiam, Sindun, Icheon, Bubal, Neungseo, and Yeoju connect the southern metropolitan line, Pyeongtaek-Wonju line, and Chungbuk-Yeongnam region, linking to the Jungbu Naeryuk Line.
POSCO E&C carried out the vehicle depot section of the Seongnam-Yeoju Double-Track Railway Bubal Vehicle Depot construction project, successfully executing the construction with a project budget of 155.4 billion KRW from the end of 2012 to the end of March 2017.
The business purpose is to inspect and stable general electric trains and trunk-line electric trains operating on the Seongnam-Yeoju double-track and Jungbu Naeryuk lines.
The project's facilities have a length of 1,135 km and an area of 197,419 m², equipped with stabling facilities for 12 trains and inspection facilities for 18 trains.
