Wando-gun Noha-Gudo Connecting Bridge Construction Project

An Extradosed Bridge in the Shape of a Geomungo, Creating a Beautiful Harmony with the Islands of the Dadohae.

This project is a new bridge construction initiative connecting Nohado and Gudo. It was built to promote regional balanced development by providing transportation convenience for residents of insular areas, improving the quality of their living environment, and increasing local residents' income. It also aims to enhance accessibility to Wando-gun's exceptional marine tourism resources as a tourism infrastructure facility. The connecting bridge is an "extradosed bridge" shaped like a geomungo (traditional Korean zither), harmonizing with the islands of the Dadohae. It was constructed to serve as a tourism resource by placing viewing spaces in the middle of the bridge where visitors can overlook the beautiful islands.
